Posted on August 7, 2013 AT 11:30am

Murdered: Soul Suspect won’t be haunting PC, PS and Xbox 360s until after March of next year, a Square Enix representative informed GameSpot.

Square Enix never provided a specific release window for Soul Suspect—it’s always been a nebulous “2014.” The company confirmed what range of months Soul Suspect wouldn’t be released during when the press noticed its absence on their release list for the fiscal year.

Murdered: Soul Suspect is being developed by Airtight Games, the studio behind Quantum Conundrum and Dark Void. The game is set in Salem, Massachusetts, and revolves around protagonist Ronan O’Connor’s attempts to unravel the mystery of his own death while fighting shadow monsters ’cause videogames, y’all.
