Posted on July 19, 2013 AT 03:36pm

Namco Bandai announced and unveiled Soulcalibur 2 HD Online today at San Diego Comic-Con.

The title is an HD port of 2003′s Soulcalibur 2, originally released on the PS2, Xbox, and GameCube. Each console received its own unique fighter—Tekken’s Heihachi, The Legend of Zelda‘s Link, and Spawn respectively. Only Heihachi appeared in the teaser trailer shown today at Comic-Con.

Soulcalibur 2 is widely regarded as one of the best fighting games made, and holds a Metacritic score of 92 from critics. EGM‘s Review Crew at the time awarded Soulcalibur 2 two 10s and a 9.

Soulcalibur 2 HD Online battles its way onto PS3 and Xbox 360 this fall.
