Namco Bandai has filed for three Tales-related trademarks in Japan, one of which might prove to be the next installment of their flagship RPG series.

The company filed trademarks for Tales of Zestoria, Tales of Creales, and Tales of Catastora. It’s worth noting, of course, that Namco Bandai often trademarks several names at once, but only one of those names is ever revealed to be the next installment of the Tales series. Prior to announcing Tales of Xillia, for example, the company filed trademarks for Tales of Zestia, Tales of Faithus, and Tales of Xillia simultaneously.

Early this month, Namco Bandai announced that Tales of Xillia 2 would be released in North America and Europe sometime 2014.
