THE BUZZ: A few days ago Namco Bandai revealed a rather risky promotional poster for Soul Calibur V, which contained just the breasts of fighter Ivy. It got away with it once but appears second time round it hasn’t been so lucky.
A second poster was put up on its Facebook page depicting another character, however the poster received so many complaints that Namco were forced to pull it from the page.
EGM’s TAKE: Sex has been used to sell games for years, however there are certain lines and if publishers cross them they can expect to get burnt. Boobs seem to be okay, but a big codpiece still gets people all in a tizzy. Sorry ladies, if it makes men feel … er … inadequate then you’re out of luck.
What do you think of the poster? Leave your thoughts below.
