BioWare has revealed that players will finally be able to change their character’s names in Star Wars: The Old Republic‘s 2.1 patch, titled Customization.

In a recent interview with SWTOR-RP, BioWare producer Cory Butler revealed that name change unlocks will be added to the Cartel Market in patch 2.1. These will allow players to change any of their character’s names for a one off fee of Cartel Coins–or you can wait for the unlock to appear on the GTN for credits.

Patch 2.1 will also introduce Appearance Designer Kiosks and a new playable race in the form of the Cathar.
