An anonymous NASA employee has added a little customization to a panel for the International Space Station, adding an image of the Space Core from Portal 2.
The part was sent up to the station on Friday, aboard a Japanese resupply craft, and features the cheeky chappy with the catchphrase “In spaaaaaaace!” printed underneath. “Please note that when we mentioned an ‘anonymous tech at NASA’ we weren’t kidding: NASA in no way officially endorses secretly laser-engraving characters from Portal onto their spacecraft,” reads a post on the official Portal 2 blog.
Space Core hitched a ride on the Japanese HTV-3 resupply mission.
