Naughty Dog narrative director and game designer both join Infinity Ward

Posted on August 1, 2014 AT 11:30am

Two more Naughty Dog devs have left the company, and both are now with Infinity Ward.

“Very psyched to share that I’ve joined the phenomenal team at @InfinityWard as the studio’s narrative director,” Taylor Kurosaki tweeted earlier today. Kurosaki had been with Naughty Dog for over 12 years. His past work includes lead design on 1996’s Crash Bandicoot, Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, and Uncharted 2: Among Thieves.

Jacob Minkoff, meanwhile, former lead gamer designer at Naughty Dog who’d previously worked on The Last of Us, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, is now a design director at Infinity Ward.

“Now job!” he tweeted. “Design Director at Infinity Ward. Love ND; can’t wait to play Uncharted 4 as a fan. Excited to work with the talented team at IW!”

Kurosaki and Minkoff join a steady drip of Naughty Dog devs that have departed since Amy Hennig’s split with the company in March. The former Uncharted series head writer and creative director is now working on a Star Wars title at EA Visceral, also serving as creative director.
