Naughty Dog is looking into offering owners of The Last of Us on PlayStation 3 a discount on The Last of Us Remastered for PlayStation 4, according to community strategist Eric Monacelli.

When asked about an upgrade discount, similar to those offered for several of the PlayStation 4′s launch title, Monacelli replied: “We’re looking into the business model for all this and will post about this once we have input from all regions.”

The Last of Us Remastered is set to release this summer exclusively on PlayStation 4, and will run at 1080p resolution, with higher resolution character models, improved shadows and lighting, upgraded textures, and more. Along with these upgrades, the Remastered version of the game includes the following add-ons: Left Behind, Abandoned Territories map pack, and the Reclaimed Territories pack.

Yesterday, the developer revealed the Grounded Bundle for the PlayStation 3 version of the game. You can get all the details here.
