The Last Of Us

Even though you are all wishing it wasn’t true, Naughty Dog has once again reiterated that The Last of Us‘ campaign will be solo only. So your friend is just going to have to sit and watch over your shoulder as the AI does his/her job.

The game seems perfect for co-op gameplay, with two main characters who need to work together to survive, however game director Neil Druckmann has stated that it will “not [have] co-op within the main campaign.” There is a silver lining though, Druckmann did promise that there would be an online component of some kind, “We are supporting multiplayer with The Last of Us, but we’re not ready to talk about the details of how multiplayer will be implemented.”

My money is on a horde style survival mode, alongside the mandatory deathmatch offerings.

Are you disappointed that co-op is not included? What do you think the game’s multiplayer will be like?
