NBA 2K13 Announced, Hits The Court on October 2

It looks like every console you can think of will be getting the NBA 2K13 treatment, including the Nintendo Wii U (eventually). 2K Sports has officially announced that the game will debut on October 2 in North America on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, Nintendo Wii, and even the PSP.
Curiously, there’s no mention of a PS Vita release, but the Wii U version is acknowledged to drop “within” the console’s launch period. We hope that the Wii U tablet touchscreen can be used for coaching elements, like swapping out players and monitoring game data.
As usual, pre-ordering the game will save you some money, as the Sprite-sponsored NBA All-Star content package will be free for you early adopters. Dropping an early $10 or more to hold your copy nets you access to the the 2013 NBA All-Star Game and three NBA All-Star events: the Foot Locker Three Point Shootout, BBVA Rising Stars Challenge, and the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest.
