NBA 2K13 Returns To The Court With Kinect, But No PlayStation Move

Microsoft’s Xbox 360 will be the console of choice for basketball fans with NBA 2K13, as the hugely successful series will be featuring some new Kinect-only features. Unfortunately for Sony, the PlayStation Move won’t be getting the same treatment, as 2K Sports is dropping support for the PS3′s motion control system.
Joystiq reports the news from recent demo with the game, also talking about the new addition of voice controls via Kinect.
It’s very similar to the voice control options you’ll find in EA’s Madden 13 and FIFA 13 titles, being able to call out plays, direct teammates, and call shots.
Like FIFA, though, cursing at the screen isn’t recommended, as it’ll most likely earn you a technical foul.
It seems like PS Move was just too difficult to hone into a reliable feature, as demonstrated when the LA Lakers’ Kobe Bryant fumbled with the system at an E3 2011 demo presentation.
NBA 2K13 will release this year on October 2nd, and will face competition with EA’s upcoming NBA Live 13.
