During their E3 2013 press conference, Electronic Arts unveiled some gameplay footage of Need for Speed: Rivals, and revealed new feature “All Drive.”

According to EA, All Drive “destroys the line between single-player, co-op, and multiplayer.” It allows for a seamless transition from single-player races to multiplayer races. In theory, players could start a race in single-player, but join up with friends and other races in multiplayer by the time they reach the finish line.

Developed by Ghost Games and Criterion, and powered by EA’s Frostbite 3 engine, Need for Speed: Rivals launches on the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, and PC November 19th.
