Need for Speed: Rivals will arrive on both PS4 and Xbox One on November 22, Electronic Arts announced today.

This make Need for Speed: Rivals a launch window title for the PlayStation 4, arriving a week after the console itself is released on November 15, and a full launch title for the Xbox One, which arrives on the same day as Rivals: October 22.

The new Need for Speed marks a transition in development of the franchise, moving from Criterion Games, who handed the previous Need for Speed release, Most Wanted, to Ghost Games. Rivals will also be the Gothenburg-based studio’s debut title.

EA’s racing franchise is also being adapted into a feature film starring Breaking Bad‘s Aaron Paul. The first trailer for the flick hit the web late last month.

Need for Speed: Rivals will be available for Windows PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 on November 19, three days before the launch of its next-gen versions.
