THE BUZZ: EA has announced that a demo for Need For Speed: The Run is coming to Xbox Live and PlayStation Network later this month.

The demo will take place in the Desert Hills of California, and Independence Pass in Colorado, offering two cars to players, the Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 and the 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera S. The later will be unlocked if your refer a friend to download the demo. It will release on Xbox Live on October 18th and PSN on October 19th.

EGM’s TAKE: The refer a friend to the demo idea seems to a point to a lot of Need For Speed spam hitting inboxes soon.

Will you be trying out the demo? Leave your thoughts below.
