Netflix, PBS, and Twitch Xbox apps currently suffering limited connectivity issues

Posted on July 7, 2014 AT 11:25am

Several Xbox Live streaming services are currently operating in limited capacity, according to the Xbox Live status page.

According to Microsoft, specific services affected by the connectivity issues include downloading digital content already purchased from Xbox video, and the Netflix (on Xbox One), PBS, and Twitch apps. Social and gaming apps are currently unaffected, as are other video-streaming apps such as Amazon Instant Video, ESPN, et al.

“Xbox members, we know some of you are unable to watch television seasons that you’ve already purchased from Xbox Video,” reads the last status update on July 4,” and we’re diligently working to correct this issue right away. We appreciate your patience during this process and will update you again when we have more information.”

Microsoft continues to work with its relevant partners to sort the matters out.
