THE BUZZ: Larry Hyrb, Xbox Live’s Major Nelson, has revealed that the upcoming Alan Wake reveal will be a standalone Xbox Live Arcade title.

Hyrb confirmed that the title would be a, ”fully standalone experience released on Xbox Live.” The new title is set to be revealed at this this years Spike VGAs.

EGM’s TAKE: Were watching this one closely. Will this be a shorter game coming in at the $15-$20 mark, or a digital distribution of a full-length title? Or maybe it will all be a dream.
