Alan Wake

THE BUZZ: As part of the lead-up to the upcoming Video Game Awards show, another reveal set to happen has begun to be talked about around the internet.

This time, it’s Alan Wake. Remedy is said to be lifting the veil on a new Alan Wake project at the show—however, Game Informer’s Jim Reilly clarified earlier today that the game will be a stand-alone project downloadable through Xbox Live, and not, in fact, Alan Wake 2.

EGM’s TAKE: With the recent release of the stand-alone inFamous 2: Festival of Blood, could this new Alan Wake project be a similar type of game? As in, a game that builds upon the previous game, but which is more of a side-story than an actual sequel?
