Assassin's Creed III

Kenway Connor, the star of Assassin’s Creed III, is something of a weapons master, in case you weren’t familiar with his skills. Ubisoft’s latest trailer wants to refresh everyone’s memory, just in case.

During the 103-second trailer, a frightened, but stern British narrator helpfully runs down the list of ways that Connor can maim and murder hapless Redcoats, such as:

• Death by tomahawk
• Death by rope darts
• Death by firearms
• Getting shot with arrows
• Being split open with a battle axe

That’s barely scratching the surface, and it’s already a pretty gruesome list.

Come to think of it, I don’t believe that anyone in that time period ever referred to a woodcutting axe as a “battle axe”—seems too Medieval Age. Regardless, it’s still brutally efficient in dispatching enemies, as seen in the trailer below.

Get cozy, everyone. Assassin’s Creed III isn’t out until the end of the month, and Ubisoft’s just getting started with the media and marketing push. In a couple of weeks, we’ll probably be drinking AC3 Slushies or something.
