New Assassin’s Creed 3 Trailer Tells Connor Kenway’s Sad Story
Posted on October 4, 2012 AT 10:30am
It’s no surprise that Assassin’s Creed III protagonist Conner Kenway has such a grim origin story, but when you consider the ultimate fate of Native Americans—ouch. That’s not promising for anyone.
As the newest trailer for AC3 shows, Kenway’s team-up with George Washington and the rest of the American colonies was a last-ditch effort to get rid of the British, everyone’s main enemy.
It’s going to be awkward for Kenway when Ubisoft releases the DLC for the Northwest Indian War.
Then again, the “King Washington” downloadable content might be just as bad.
If the alternate universe version of the United States’ first president is as horrific as an episode of the Twilight Zone, it’ll be gruesome. Just imagine an entire unified American army actively hunting down Native Americans.
Either way, the clip below is certainly grim, but not anywhere as much as actual past events, so know your history, folks.
