New Assassin’s Creed 3 TV Commercial Actually Seems Pretty Upbeat
Posted on September 6, 2012 AT 01:30pm
Ubisoft just released the newest Assassin’s Creed III commercial that you may have seen on TV yesterday during the NFL season opener. Considering what a grim business the assassin’s trade can be, it’s pretty cheery.
If you recognize the tune in the video below, it’s the hook from rap group Diddy-Dirty Money’s hit single “Coming Home”—the most recognizable track from their Last Train to Paris album.
Now your milage may vary on how well hip-hop mixes with the American Revolution, but at least they’re not using something completely unfitting, like “Call Me Maybe” or something.
If you didn’t catch it on TV, feel free to check out the video below and weep at the fact that Assassin’s Creed III isn’t out for consoles until October 30th. That’s a pretty long way off for Ubisoft to be taunting us with this commercial.
