Warner sneakily confirmed in its latest financial call that a new game in the Batman: Arkham franchise would be releasing this year.

“We expect [digital home video revenue] to grow close to 20% in 2013. And we also have a strong games release this year, which will include the next release in the Batman Arkham franchise,” CFO John K. Martin said during the call.

Last year rumors suggested that the next game would be a prequel set in the Silver Age of comics.
