Devil May Cry

The second demo for Devil May Cry 5 is available now on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Xbox One players got to give the latest game in the popular hack-and-slash series a try a few months ago, but this new demo will be the first time PlayStation 4 players can join in on the fun. It’s available on both consoles today, and goes more in-depth than the first sample Xbox One players saw.

In this version of the demo, players control Nero in the Red Grave City level, equipped with his Red Queen sword, Blue Rose handgun, and Devil Breaker abilities. All that is the same as the December demo, but this time, players get a new Devil Breaker, the Punch Line. Players can use it to fire rockets around at their enemies. This time, too, players can call Nico over in the DMC Motorhome to power Nico up, and make use of the game’s customization options.

Additionally, any progress made in this version of the demo can be carried forward into the full game when it releases. Anyone who plays the demo will also receive a bonus 30,000 red orbs in the full game.

Devil May Cry 5 releases on March 8th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
