THE BUZZ: A ton of new screenshots have appeared online for Square-Enix’s Dragon Quest X. The game was announced back in September for Wii U and Wii and will feature cross platform play.

EGM’s TAKE: We’re still unsure about the prospect of an online Dragon Quest game. Look how it’s worked out for Final Fantasy. But the vibrant art-style shows the developers are staying close to the traditional DQ formula, at least in some ways. For now we’ll have to just keep out fingers crossed while trying to keep our office slime fed and happy.
