THE BUZZ: The European division of Square Enix has put out a new video showing off more of Final Fantasy XIII-2‘s active time battle system, and the improvements its received over Final Fantasy XIII.

EGM’s TAKE: I’m in a bit of an odd position with this one; I’ve yet to play any of Final Fantasy XIII, yet I’ve played a number of hours of XIII-2 thanks to my recent trip to the Tokyo Game Show. I’m interested in XIII-2, so do I just go ahead and play it without having touched XIII? Or will I have to add not one, but two more RPGs to my “games I need to somehow make time for” pile?
