F1 2011 is getting close to release now and no doubt Codemasters will have some new information to share at Gamescom next week however Chief Designer, Stephen Hood has decided to share a few new details ahead of time on his Twitter account.
Hood revealed that the co-op championship will only be available online and that the career mode has been reduced from seven seasons to five.
The interesting little detail that he shared was that the online mode will carry penalties for more experienced drivers using driving aids. If you have TC and ABS activated then you will receive a weight penalty and the higher your rank the more that penalty will be.
F1 2011 will be coming out next month for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
