Far Cry 3

Most of you will be forgiven if you die a few dozen ghastly deaths in the jungle island of Far Cry 3. After all, between the gun-toting natives, creepy tombs, and local wildlife, it’s not exactly a vacation resort.

That’s the gist of the newest Far Cry 3 trailer, which shows off a few key things you’ll need to keep in mind while playing the single-player missions, since survival tactics go hand-in-hand with the combat:

• Don’t go hunting for treasure without a back-up plan.
• Make friends with the local island folk.
• Don’t sleep with the attractive leader of the island.
• Drive safely.
• Don’t pet the animals, especially the faster meat-eaters.

Far Cry 3 is out on store shelves for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC during the last week of November for Australia and Europe. Everyone in North America is going to have to wait a few days until December 4th.
