After a long wait Square-Enix’s Tetsuya Nomura has finally let loose some new information on the PlayStation 3 exclusive Final Fantasy Versus XIII in the latest issue of Famitsu.

Firstly he spoke about how players will be able to have control during cutscenes such as being able to move the camera around similar to the FPS genre as he believes that events shouldn’t break up the flow of gameplay.

He also touched upon the battle system in Versus describing it as dynamic with battles constantly changing to keep things fresh.

Finally he said that in-game character models will be almost identical to those used in cutscenes as Square-Enix has managed to find a way of unifying the models during both.

Sadly Tetsuya finished by saying that it will be a long time until we hear anything more about the game and he apolgised for the wait.
