Yacht Club Games has released the first look at King Knight’s campaign for Shovel Knight.

The GIF attached to Yacht Club Games’ tweet shows King Knight spinning through his own themed stage, Pridemoor Keep. The playable version of King Knight was one of the stretch goals reached during Shovel Knight‘s Kickstarter campaign, along with playable versions of Plague Knight, which released last year with the free Plague of Shadows update, and a playable Specter Knight, which is currently in simultaneous development with the King Knight campaign.

As far as seeing campaigns featuring bosses beyond the ones promised during Shovel Knight‘s Kickstarter campaign, Yacht Club Games said that the studio will likely move onto its next project once the Kickstarter stretch goals are fulfilled rather than continue working on Shovel Knight.

Yacht Club Games hasn’t given a release date for the DLC, but said that it plans to finish updating Shovel Knight “this year.”
