For Honor isn’t missing out on the holidays, as the announcement of the Frost Wind Festival reveals new wintery content coming to the fighter.
The Frost Wind Festival’s most notable addition to For Honor is the new Ice Brawlers mode, putting a frozen twist on 2v2 Brawl matches. In Ice Brawlers, showdowns take place on the surface of a frozen lake. As the match goes on, the ice begins to crack, and one wrong step can turn any player into an ice cube.
New Hero content is also dropping for the Frost Wind Festival. Winter-themed Battle Outfits, weapons, mood effects, and emotes can be looted from any mode during the event, as well as purchased in Hero-specific bundles starting December 28th. Appealingly, the bundles’ prices will dynamically adapt to exclude content you’ve already obtained.
New Mask outfits for each faction can also be purchased during the event, discounted at 15,000 Steel between December 21st and December 28th, down from 20,000. These crazy threads are shown off in the Frost Wind Festival trailer below (with voice-over that is like nails scratching the inside of your skull).
For Honor‘s Frost Wind Festival will run from December 21st until January 4th, and can be enjoyed for free by all players.
