THE BUZZ: A new off-screen gameplay video for Kinect Star Wars has appeared online.

The footage comes courtesy of ZoomIn.TV and shows off multiple parts of the game including lighsaber action, pod racing, Rancor destruction and the ill-fated dancing mini-game.

Microsoft recently announced that the Kinect Star Wars game and Xbox 360 console would be releasing April 3.

EGM’s TAKE: Remember when you first heard about Kinect Star Wars and had these visions of finally being able to act like a Jedi Master? Well abandon all those thoughts right now. Sadly this is not the ultimate Star Wars game we all hoped for. It appears to be more of a flail until your avatar does something deal instead of the amazing fluid controls we all dreamed of. As for that dancing mini-game, imagine Dance Central featuring Princess Leia and you’ll get the idea. I couldn’t even watch to the end of that section, it was too painful.

What do you think of the gameplay? Let us know in the comments below.
