THE BUZZ: Rockstar has released a new batch of screenshots for Max Payne 3.

The shots are taken from a section of the game which sees Max making a cash drop at a soccer stadium with the aim of getting a woman who was kidnapped back.

Max Payne 3 is due to release May 15 in North America and May 18 internationally for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

EGM’s TAKE: The game simply looks amazing. Max Payne is back with a bang and several explosions. The gameplay looks fluid and accessible, however it won’t be so easy to master. Only careful use of bullet-time and weapons will ensure survival on the hardest difficulty. Learning what weapons work best in each situation is the key to survival.
