The DLC announced yesterday will include the previous two months of DLC, this time for non-Elite members, along with three new content drops. The new drops include the Black Box multiplayer map and two new Spec Ops missions: Black Ice and Negotiator. Details on the new content can be found here.
Content Collection 1 will be made available to Elite Xbox 360 subscribers March 13, (with PS3 and PC version coming later) and non-Elite Xbox 360 players on March 20 (again PS3 and PC players get it later).
EGM’s TAKE: It’s nice that non-Elite subscribers can finally enjoy some new Modern Warfare 3 DLC. Not only that, but they will also be completely caught up with Elite subscribers by March 20. It appears that Activision is trying to make up for the anger that fans have voiced over the major gaps left between Elite and non-Elite subscribers. Sadly PlayStation 3 and PC members are still left out in the cold, but that’s nothing new thanks to Microsoft and Activision’s exclusivity deal.
