THE BUZZ: DICE recommends that you download the new NVIDIA drivers for Battlefield 3, as they will boost the performance of the game by around 38 percent.
Johan Andersson, Rendering Architect at DICE, has recommended NVIDIA’s 285.38 beta drivers as they will upgrade the performance of the Battlefield 3 beta. The new drivers offer the following:
- Increased performance in Battlefield 3 by up to 38%.
- Improved overall stability and image quality in Battlefield 3.
- Improved compatibility and performance for RAGE.
- Added or updated SLI profiles for Battlefield 3, Dead Island, Diablo III, Dragon Age 2, Need for Speed: The Run, and Saints Row: The Third.
- Fixed a performance regression in 285.27 beta running Crysis 2 (DirectX 9)
You can download the drivers here.
EGM’s TAKE: If the option of a 38 percent increase in performance is there, then why not take it?
