Nintendo has announced a brand new type of Pokemon which will be added to Pokemon X and Y and also detailed a new featured called Pokemon-Amie.

The 18th type of Pokemon is Fairy and covers the mysterious Sylveon, Jigglypuff, and Marill. This type is super effective against Dragon-type Pokemon. The platform holder also revealed a new feature called Pokemon-Amie, which allows players to pet, feed, and play with the Pokemon they catch in X and Y. Players can also copy their Pokemon’s actions using the 3DS camera to make them happy.

Pokemon X and Y are releasing worldwide on 3DS October 12.
