Red Dead Redemption

Following a recent tease, Rockstar has released a new trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2 confirming that the game takes place before the events of the original Red Dead Redemption.

Fans had previously speculated that Red Dead Redemption 2 would tell the story of Dutch’s gang, which Red Dead Redemption protagonist John Marston was a part of, and the trailer below confirms it.

According to Rockstar, the sequel tells the “story of outlaw Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang as they rob, fight and steal their way across the vast and rugged heart of America in order to survive.”

As mentioned above, John Marston was part of the gang, but it’s unknown if he will make an appearance in the game or if it is set before he joins.

Red Dead Redemption 2 launches spring 2018 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
