New Screenshots For Mass Effect 3′s Next DLC, Leviathan

Leviathan will be the next DLC release for BioWare’s Mass Effect 3, and today new screenshots and details on the pack were revealed.

Leviathan will be the first DLC pack released for ME3 to be story-focused. Set during the Reaper invasion, Commander Shepard will be sent out in search for the mysterious “Leviathan”, which is said to potentially hold the power to stop the Reapers. The adventure will take you from a lab on the Citadel, to a derelict spaceship floating in the waters of a far-off planet, to being at the bottom of that sea as you explore the ocean floor.

In addition to the single-player element, Leviathan will add two new weapons to the game—the AT-12 Raider shotgun, and the M-55 Argus combat rifle—along with a new weapon mod or two.

Mass Effect 3: Leviathan will be hitting later this summer for $9.99 on PSN, or 800 MS Points on the Xbox Live Marketplace.
