The folks over at Obsidian Entertainment are working hard to make their upcoming RPG based on South Park really have the look and feel of the shot—and, as these new shots from THQ released today show off, their efforts are absolutely seeming successful.

One of the goals for South Park: The Stick of Truth was to make a game that really made players feel like they were a part of the hit cartoon series. In fact, South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone spoke about how hard it actually is to make the game look as terrible as the TV show does (their words, not mine).

That hard work is just part of what is making The Stick of Truth look so exciting—and which is making fans everywhere eagerly await the game’s March 5th, 2013 release date.
