South Park

Ubisoft has released a new behind-the-scenes video for South Park: The Stick of Truth featuring an interview with series creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone.

The clip, which you can see below, also touches on the history of the project, showcases some never before seen gameplay footage, and offers a rare opportunity to see lead designer Matt MacLean’s truly remarkable facial hair.

Perhaps the most interesting insight, though, is just how much thought grown men Parker and Stone have put into the game’s farting mechanics. “It was really important that you didn’t just press a button to fart, but that it was analog,” explains Parker. “You needed to feel it go out of your asshole.”

I can’t decide whether typing that last sentence is the highlight or the lowlight of my career. Maybe both.

South Park: The Stick of Truth is due out for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC on March 4.
