Sadly Star Wars 1313 was cancelled following the closure of LucasArts, but that hasn’t stopped new details about the title emerging.
An anonymous source has offered IGN a look at a new 15-minute demo of the game that would have been shown at E3 earlier this year. 1313 would have opened with a young Boba Fett on Tattooine still wearing his father’s helmet. The game was to be set between the prequels and original trilogy so Boba doesn’t yet have his iconic Mandalorian armor. The game would have seen Fett gaining pieces of his armor as it progressed.
1313 played out like Uncharted with lots of scripted platforming sections, according to the source. Boba would also have been joined by a companion droid for most of the game. According to the source, part of the game was set to take place in layer 1314 of Coruscant, a derelict slum which has been kept in darkness for several years.
Finally, 1313 was set to tie-in with a live-action television series about the crime families of Coruscant. It’s unknown if the show was also cancelled following Disney’s takeover. For more 1313 details and a look at some new concept art, head over to IGN.
