THE BUZZ: Six new screenshots of Assassin’s Creed III have appeared online.

The screens, posted on NeoGAF, show a mix of different environments from urban settings covered in snow, to a lush forest with Conner hanging high in the trees.

EGM’s TAKE: These screenshots look like they are taken from a version of the game running on a very high end PC, but if this is how good the game looks then a few people might opt to upgrade their rigs and forget the console version. The environments and character models look stunning. We can’t wait to see the game in action.

Yesterday it was announced that the game would receive its first public showing at PAX East.
