Super Mario

Yet another Wii U game is gaining a second chance at life on the Nintendo Switch. This time around, it’s New Super Mario Bros. U.

Dubbed New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, the port also comes packed with a remake of New Super Luigi U and includes all 164 courses available across both games.

Players will be able to use a single Joy-Con to play the game, letting multiple players jump in by joining with additional Joy-Cons. There will be some brand new playable characters to take advantage of the expanded multiplayer, with both Nabbit (who takes no damage from enemies) and Toadette (who can grab a double crown to become Peachette, with a double jump, slow fall, and bottomless pit invulnerability) joining the cast.

Additionally, there will be three new game modes: Boost Rush, Challenges, and Coin Battle. Each of these is playable as your Mii character.

New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe releases on January 11th, 2019, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
