Bethesda has released a new batch of screenshots for Shinji Mikami’s upcoming survival horror title The Evil Within.

This latest batch focuses less on blood and gore and more on the game’s creepy atmosphere. One screen shows an abandoned room with just a wheelchair sitting in the middle of it—I’m sure nothing is going to happen in there. Another features a giant monster attacking Detective Sebastian Castellanos in waist deep water.

While investigating a crime scene, Detective Sebastian Castellanos is attacked and rendered unconscious. He wakes up to find himself in a world filled with monsters.

The Evil Within is set to launch August 26 in North America and August 29 in Europe for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC.
