THE BUZZ: Naughty Dog has released several new screenshots for its PlayStation 3 exclusive, The Last of Us.
EGM’s TAKE: The game looks incredible, there’s no doubt about that. But will gameplay match its looks? The fact that Naughty Dog is putting a lot of time and effort into companion AI seems to suggest that everything will be OK. The last thing we need is another AI partner who takes 20 minutes to decide whether to pull the “this will save you” lever or not. We still feel that they missed a trick by not including co-op play though.
