New Wildman Developer Diary Examines the Design Process

In the fourth Wildman video update, Gas Powered Games CEO Chris Taylor takes viewers through his design process and talks about the blending of action-RPG and RTS gameplay.

Talylor also touches upon the “technology” system, which is the backbone of Wildman’s RTS system. Discovering new technology or adopting it from conquered enemies leads to the development of new weapons, armor, magic, stat boosters, troops, et cetera.

Gas Powered Games also added $5 and $10 pledge tiers to their Kickstarter campaign. The $5 tier gives immediate access to the Wildman forums once the Kickstarter has completed. The $10 tier gives access to the game’s pre-release beta (though once Wildman is released, the beta will be shut down, so beta testers will need to purchase the full-price version to keep playing).
