A new trailer for CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt shows off the gorgeous in-game visuals and gameplay of the series’ concluding entry.

Wild Hunt marks the end of protagonist Geralt of Rivia’s story and features a multi-region open world 30 times larger than The Witcher 2’s world. The size and scope of The Witcher’s world can be gleaned from some of the footage in the trailer (embedded below). A handful of pretty cool-looking beasties players, as Geralt, will have to take down can also be seen.

The Witcher 3 launches on Windows PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One sometime 2014.

Update: It’s come to my attention that CD Projekt Red debuted this trailer during E3. It was not my intention to repost an old story. Seven months later it had all but slipped my mind in the sea of other trailers and news stories formed between then and now. The trailer was uploaded to the PlayStation YouTube account today, and so seemed like timely, new news. I apologize for reposting old media. It was new to me, and seemed new to me. Honest mistake.
