New Wolfenstein May Be in the Works

According to PlayNews, as reported by Polygon, mention of a 2013 Wolfenstein game is listed on a Google Cache iteration of composer/sound designer Julian Beeston’s official website.

When ZeniMax Media, the parent company of id Software, acquired MachineGames in 2010, they put out a press release that mentioned MachineGames’ work on an unannounced project. Then, in 2012, ZeniMax registered the domain wolfenstein.com (which right now contains the original Wolfenstein 3D playable in-browser).

Beeston’s website still references Wolfenstein, though without the date. Wolfenstein is may things, but dead isn’t one of them—the seventh Wolfenstein title came out in 2009.
