The Last Of Us

Someone accidentally put the title Logan on the new trailer for The Last of Us movie.

Okay, not really, but the first official trailer for the next X-Men film bears more than a few resemblances to the popular survival shooter. We see Hugh Jackman as a gruff older man?who even looks quite like the game’s Joel?escorting a young girl while being hounded on all sides by violent men. The girl even comes off more important than the average child for no immediately evident reason (though X-Men fans will know right away who she is and why she’s significant).

A film on The Last of Us is reportedly underway, but an onslaught of production issues have stunted its progress last we heard.

Nick didn’t start gaming until mid-2006. Once his parents finally allowed a console into the house, it was all uphill from there. Starting out with a PS2, he grew an affinity for Sony consoles and moved on to the PS3, and now the PS4. He keeps his gaming palette wide, but, gun to his head, he’d have to say shooters are his genre of choice. Find him on Twitter @idole808
