If you turn your Xbox 360 on today, you may be in for a surprise, as some owners will begin to get a new console update.
Reports started coming in a bit earlier today from random people around the internet, but Microsoft’s Larry Hryb has now confirmed it on Twitter:
“If you got an Xbox 360 System Update: Spring update rolling out to a few this week—everyone else next week. The system update contains behind the scenes improvements & prep for future enhancements.”
If this update will actually provide any noticeable changes is yet to be seen. At Microsoft’s E3 press conference, we got a glimpse of a somewhat revised Xbox 360 dashboard—however, that update is expected to come along with a Fall update, not this current one.
If you have gotten the update, and you’ve noticed something different, let us know in the comments below!
