In celebration of the new year, Nintendo has released a new piece of art for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

2017 is looking bright already, with some beautiful (and nostalgic) art arriving from Nintendo. Revealed via the official Zelda Twitter account, the image is an homage to a piece of official artwork from The Legend of Zelda.

The old artwork showed Link kneeling on a rocky outcropping while looking at Death Mountain as you can see below. The new image is framed similarly, with Link looking out over a volcanic mountain range.

Additionally, Nintendo showed off some art of an enemy that will be appearing in Breath of the Wild on their Facebook page.

These enemies have a cool, mechanical look to them and apparently come in “a variety of sizes and shapes.” Hopefully this means more than an electrical guardian, a water guardian, a fire guardian, etc, but we’ll just have to wait to see.

How do you feel about the new enemy? Let us know in the comments below!
