Entwined, the just-announced debut title from indie developer Pixel Opus, will be available on PlayStation 4 immediately, Sony revealed during their E3 press conference.
The game will cost $9.99, and while it’s only launching on PS4 today, it’ll be a part of the Cross Buy program when it comes to PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in the near future, meaning you’ll get all three versions with a single purchase.
From a gameplay standpoint, Entwined centers around “two souls,” one in the shape of a fish, the other in the shape of a bird. You’ll control both at one time, each with one analog stick. Your goal is to bring them both together, allowing them to transform into a dragon.
Listen, it looks about as weird as it sounds once you see it in action. I guess “recent college graduates” means they’re still in the experimenting-with-illicit-substances stage of life. But it also looks pretty beautiful and fun, and you can give it a shot later tonight. Hard to beat the lack of wait, there.
